The Planet, Yuna

In a solar system similar to ours, the planet Yuna exists. It's orbit is habitable, but slightly closer to their sun compared to earth, creating an overall more humid and warm climate. While there are still cold poles, it is overall less. The more tropical climate causes foliage to grow more and more, and most areas are covered in flora. The growth of plants has become so intense that plants have evolved to become predators. Much like mammals being carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores, many plants have evolved similarly to become carnivores. They hunt animals from small to large, and many have adapted to animals also evolving to detect them. Like anglerfish, some grow attractive fruits to lure in their prey. Some are scavengers, feasting upon the corpses of those animals hunted by the carnivores.
